This article will explain how to Add and Edit Equipment. Adding Equipment can be done from Equipment Entry or Settings/Equipment.
Editing Equipment is only available when accessed through Settings/Equipment.
Accessing from both Settings and Equipment Entry are explained below.
Quick Look:
From Settings/Equipment
- From "Settings" > Select "Equipment"
- To Add: Click "New" button
- Select "General Info" tab > add info
- Select "Registration" tab > add info
- Select "Maintenance" tab > add info
- Click "Save" button
- To Edit: Click on Equipment
- Select "General Info, Registration or Maintenance" tab > Edit any information
- Click "Save" button
From Dispatching/Equipment Entry
You can only Add from this option:
- From "Daily Work" > Select "Dispatching"
- Click on "Equipment Entry" button
- Repeat same steps from above
- Click "Save" button
From Settings/Equipment
1. Begin at Settings then select Equipment.
2. To Add equipment, click on the New button.
(To Edit equipment, skip to step 7)
3. Now you can enter all of your Equipment's General Information, in the General Info tab.
a. Equipment ID: (Your own company ID for the Equipment)
b. Description: (Description of the Equipment)
c. Year: (Enter the year in 4 digit format or select year from the drop-down)
d. Equipment Type: ( Select one of the three from the Drop-down)
e. Make: (The Make of the Equipment)
f. Model: (The Model of the Equipment)
g. VIN: (The VIN of the Equipment)
h. Vehicle Capacity: (Enter the capacity of vehicles this Equipment holds)
i. MPG: (Manually enter the MPG or select from the drop-down)
j. Trailer Type: (Is the Equipment Enclosed or Open)
4. Next, enter all of your Equipment's Registration Information, in the Registration tab.
a. License State: (Select State from the drop-down or manually enter)
b. License Country: (Select the Country from the drop-down)
c. License Number: (Enter the license number)
d. Registration Expiration: (Select from the drop-down or type in the date)
Alert: When the registration comes within two weeks of expiring the system will alert you in the "System Alerts" tool bar. To learn more about System Alerts please refer to the System Alerts Article.
5. Lastly, enter your Equipment's Maintenance Dates in the Maintenance tab.
a. Last Maintenance: (The date this Equipment received its last maintenance)
b. Next Maintenance: (The expected date the Equipment needs maintenance)
6. Once you are done entering the Equipment Information click Save.
7. To Edit equipment, start at the same Settings/Equipment screen (step 1 above) and click on the Equipment row you need to Edit.

8. Edit the necessary information, then click the Save button.
From Dispatching/Equipment Entry
1. Beginning at Daily Work, select Dispatching.
2. Now click on the Equipment Entry button.
3. The Equipment Entry window opens, where you may begin to enter information into the General Info, Registration and Maintenance tabs as described above (see steps 3 -6).
a. To complete, click the Save button when you are done.
