The purpose of this article is to explain how to Create or Edit a Customer in the system. There are three different places where you can do this from: Dispatch/Customer Entry, Settings/Customer Entry or Dispatch/BOL .

Any tab of the Customer Entry window, please refer to the Customer Entry Fields and Functions section.
Important: ONLY STORE actual Address info in Address Lines 1, 2, 3, City, Postal Code, State and Country fields.
Storing any other information, ie: Notes, details, etc. WILL RESULT IN AN INVALID ADDRESS in Maps of the Mobile Driver App, thus failing to provide your Driver with instant directions to their location.
To communicate any details to your Driver, use the "Notes" tab, your Driver will be able to view these.
Quick Look:
From Dispatch/Customer Entry
- Start at "Daily Work" > Select "Dispatching"
- Click on "Customer Entry" button
- To Edit: At "Edit Customer" field
- Enter Customer information > Click "Save"
- To Create: Click "Create New" button
- Enter Customer information > Click "Save"
From Settings/Customer Entry
- Start at "Settings" > Select "Customer Entry"
- To Create: Click "New" button > Enter Customer information > Click "Save"
- To Edit: Click on Customer line > Edit information >Click "Save"
From Dispatch/BOL
- Start at "Daily Work" > Select "Dispatching"
- If Existing BOL: BOLs Tab > Access BOL >Click "Edit" button
- At "Order Entry" screen > Click "Addresses" bar
- Click "Edit" button > Add or Edit Customer > Click "Save"
- If New BOL: Click "New Order" button > Enter BOL info
- At "Addresses" bar > click "Edit" button > Click "Save"
From Dispatch/Customer Entry
1. Start at Daily Work then select Dispatching.
2. Select the Customer Entry button from the toolbar.
3. To Edit an existing Customer type in name or select it from the drop-down menu by clicking on the drop-down arrow of Edit Customer.
To Create a new Customer click on the Create New button.
4. Once you have entered/edited the Customer's information, click the Save button.
a. Customer Saved confirmation appears in upper right corner of your screen.
From Settings/Customer Entry
1. Start at Settings then select Customer Entry.
2. To begin, click on the New button (located at bottom left corner of screen)
- To Edit from this option, go to step 4 below
3. Now you can create a New Customer. Enter the Customer's information, once you are finished click the Save button.
a. Customer Saved confirmation appears in upper right corner of your screen.
4. To Edit from this option, simply click on the customer you need to Edit.
5. Go ahead and Edit the information needed for this customer and click Save.
a. Customer Saved confirmation appears in upper right corner of your screen.
From Dispatch/BOL
1. Start at Daily Work then select Dispatching.
2. From the BOL's tab, locate the BOL, hover over it then click the Edit button.
a. If this is a new BOL, click the New Order button, begin your usual BOL process, then proceed to step 3 below.
3. Now that the BOL is in the Order Entry screen, click on the Addresses bar.
4. Next, click on the Add or Edit button of the customer you need to Edit.
5. Go ahead and Add or Edit the Customer's information, then click Save when done.
