This article will explain how to know you have a System Alert and how to access it. The System Alert button, the Exclamation Point icon
, is one of the buttons located at the very top of your screen.
Three different types of Alerts exist, that is "Alert", "Announcement" or "Message", these are color coded and also described below.
Quick Look:
- "Rotating icon" appears in "System Alert" button indicating active Alert
- Click "System Alert" button
- Read Alert in Message box
- Scroll left, right to read all Alerts
- Click "x" to close
- Message disappears
System Alerts
1. When you have an active System Alert, you will notice the System Alert button will have a partial moon icon rotating in it.
2. Click on the Alert button to open and view the Alert.
3. Your message box is now open for you to read. If more than one Alert exists, scroll to the next or previous Alerts by clicking on the Left or Right arrows in the message box.
4. To close the message box, simply click on the "x" located at the upper right corner of the box.
5. When the System Alert contains further reading not viewable in the message box, a "Read More" indicator is visible, click on "Read More" to access.
b. The rest of the System Alert is opened up in a new message box, click on the OK button to close.
