System Search

This article will explain how to use the System Search feature. The System Search button is one of the buttons located at the very top of your screen. This feature searches primarily for VINs, BOLs or Trips by number.

The System Search feature (Magnify Glass button ) will route you to a search field where you can quickly perform your search.

 

Quick Look:

• Click "Search" button 
• Type in (or use drop-down) VIN, BOL or Trip number
• Once located > click on item
• Navigate through information/feature buttons
• Click "Close" button to exit

System Search

Tip: You can search by any amount of characters contained in your VIN, BOL or Trip. The more characters you type in this field the more it will refine your search.

1. Access the Search feature by clicking on the Search button located at the top of your main screen.

 2. Search by one of two methods:

a. First method: Enter the VIN, BOL or Trip number or partial number into the search field.

• Once located, click on the selection.

b. Second Method: Click on the drop-down arrow, scroll through the menu then click on the selection once located.

4.  Once you have selected your item it will open the item in a new window (in this example Order Entry window per BOL search).

• Window display varies depending on the Search: VIN, BOL or Trip.

a. From here, view your items, it's details and access other feature options.

5. To exit from the window, click on the Close button.
