This article will explain how to use the SMS Notifications feature.
This SMS feature allows you to send important updates with real-time Text message updates, directly to your customers' mobile devices, ensuring they're always informed and engaged. In addition you can also provide your clients with a customer satisfaction survey.
Another great feature is these Notifications can be customized to say exactly what you would like them to say to your customers, contact us and we will set it all up for you in seconds!
Once your Customers' phone number(s) is set up, they will receive notifications of your actions on certain events specified by you via Text message. SMS Notifications are not required fields and can be edited at anytime.

Quick Look:
Automate by Customer Profile
- Start at "Daily Work" > Select "Dispatching"
- Select "Customer Entry" > Select "SMS Notifications" Tab
- Enter Phone number(s) in desired field(s)
- Click "Save" > click "OK"
Automate by Individual BOL
- Start at "Daily Work" > Select "Dispatching"
- Locate and hover over BOL > Click "Edit" button
- Click "Notifications" button > Select "SMS" > Edit information
- Click "OK"

Automate by Customer Profile
1. Beginning at Daily Work, select Dispatching.
2. Click on the Customer Entry button.
3. The Customer Entry window appears. Begin by selecting the SMS Notifications tab, then enter the phone(s) into the field(s) you would like to utilize.
Use the "Copy To All" function when you want to duplicate the same number(s) into all the other fields.
a. Enter the Phone number(s) into the first field, click on the Copy To ALL button, every field will populate with the same Phone number(s).
Use the "Copy From Cell" function when you want to copy the Cell Phone number from the "Contact Info" tab into the SMS Notifcation tab.
b. Click on the Copy From Cell button, Cell phone Number from the info tab will now appear in the fields.
4. SMS Notification actions described below:
a) Text New Orders: Sent when a new BOL is created for customer.
b) Text Dispatched Orders: Sent when any of the customers BOLs are dispatched.
c) Text Pickup Scheduled Orders: Sent when any of the customers BOLs have a scheduled Pick-up.
d) Text Pickup ETA Orders: Sent to customer when an Estimated Pickup Date/Time is entered into an Order.
e) Text Pickup Orders: Sent when any of the customers BOLs have been Picked-up by the Driver.
f) Text Delivery Scheduled Orders: Sent when any of the customers BOLs have a scheduled Delivery.
g) Text Delivery ETA Orders: Sent to customer when an Estimated Delivery Date/Time is entered into an Order.
h) Text Delivered Orders: Sent when any of the customers BOLs have been Delivered by the Driver.
i) Text Delivery Survey: Emails clients a Customer Satisfaction survey.
5. Once you are done entering Phone number(s), click on the Save button.
Automate by Individual BOL
1. Beginning at Daily Work, select Dispatching.
2. From the BOLs tab, locate and hover over the BOL you need. Click on the Edit button.
3. From the BOL edit mode, click on the Notifications button located at the bottom right of the screen.
4. Select the SMS tab, then enter or delete any Phone numberss you would like here. Click the OK button, when you are finished. (See step 3 above of "Automate by Customer Profile" for details of each field).
