This article will explain in-depth steps of the "Address Info" tab of Customer Entry. Regardless whether you are "Editing" or "Adding" a New Customer, this information is relevant. Once a New Customer is created, any information stored can always be Edited.

Important: ONLY STORE actual Address info in Address Lines 1, 2, 3, City, Postal Code, State and Country fields.
Storing any other information, ie: Notes, details, etc. WILL RESULT IN AN INVALID ADDRESS in Maps of the Mobile Driver App, thus failing to provide your Driver with instant directions to their location.
To communicate any details to your Driver, use the "Notes" tab, your Driver will be able to view these.
Quick Look:
- Start at "Daily Work" > Select "Dispatching"
- Click on "Customer Entry" button > Select "Address Info" tab
- Enter information into fields
- Click "Save"
Address Info
1. Beginning at Daily Work, select Dispatching.
2. Click on Customer Entry.
3. Select the Address Info tab, and proceed by entering information into it's perspectives fields. Each field explained below:
a. Name: Enter the Customer Name into this field.
b. Cust Code: Enter a Customer Code that you create for this customer. You can create a unique code for the Customer, any code that suits you, up to six characters.
- This can be a dealer code, or an abbreviation of their name, etc. This is not case sensitive, so "ABC123" is the same as "abc123".
c. Business or Residential: Click the drop-down arrow and select the address type.
d. Billto only?: If the Customer has a different address (besides the physical address) for billing purposes check-mark this box. If not, leave unchecked.
- If using this option, you will need to create an entire new "Customer Entry" for this customer, besides the current one (this Customer will have two Customer Entry's). The second would list the physical address in the "Location" field of their second Customer Entry (see "Tip" and step e below)
- You can eliminate a second Customer Entry, if storing a mailing address for your own records. You can enter the mailing address in the "Dispatcher Notes" tab of their "Customer Entry".
- Anything entered into Dispatcher Notes are only visible to the Dispatcher.
e. Location: Enter the physical address of your Customer.
- Reminder: This is the address that will default to Google Maps for your Driver to arrive at their destination.
f. Save: Once the Location field is populated it will auto-populate Address Lines 1, 2, 3, City, Postal Code, State/Province and Country. Click the Save button to save all the information you have entered.
- Confirmation the Customer information was saved will appear in the upper right corner of your screen:
