How do I Update VIN Locations in Bulk?

In order to update VIN locations in bulk, the VINs must already be in the GoPhore system and can only be imported from a csv formatted file.

The file column order must be VIN first and Location second.

Important: This function will update VIN Locations EVERYWHERE in the system, to include BOLs, Trips and the VIN itself.

 Quick Look:

• Start at "Daily Work" > Select "Dispatching"
• Click on "Batch Update" > Select "Update VIN Loc."
• Copy VIN and Bay Locations from your spreadsheet
• Drop info into "Update VIN Location" window > Click "OK" button
• Select "OEM VINs" tab > Refresh button

Updating VIN Locations in Bulk

1. Begin with Daily Work and select Dispatching.

2. Click the Batch Update dropdown arrow and select Update VIN Loc.

a. This opens Update VIN Location window:

3. Select and copy the VIN's and Bay locations from your spreadsheet.

Important Reminder: File must be in csv format and file column order as VIN first, Location second.

4. Drop the selected VINs and Bay locations into the Update VIN Location window, then click OK.

5. From the OEM VINs tab, click the Refresh button. The Bay Locations are now updated.
