Addressing the "NoEDI" Error in VIN Discrepancies Email Report
If you encounter a "NoEDI" error indicating missing EDI data for a VIN, immediate action is required. Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Contact OBT Representative:
- Stop and reach out to your OBT representative to determine why the EDI data for that VIN has not been received. Timely communication with your OBT rep will help resolve the issue efficiently.
2. Special Transport (ST / 540):
- If the VIN is classified as Special Transport (ST / 540) and the SBOL contains the ST number, the system will automatically match the EDI data when it is received. (This is true only if the ST comes in AFTER manual entry AND the ST number matches what is in the SBOL field)
- Otherwise use the GoPhore Utility linked below.
3. Haulaway (510):
- If the VIN is classified as Haulaway (510) and you manually entered the VIN, you must use the GoPhore utility tool linked below to manually match the VIN.
